On Monday 2nd December, as part of their ‘Reach for the Stars’ project, Year 5 were really lucky to receive a visit from the Space Dome. This involved the children going inside a huge inflatable dome where they learned lots of amazing facts about the stars and planets within our solar system, how black holes are formed and they managed to identify some of the stars and their names. They learned a lot of new facts to support their learning and were wowed by the amazing photographs that they were shown. The children also asked some really great questions to find out even more.  Year 5 had an amazing time and particularly enjoyed seeing the stars and finding the North Star!
