Gift of Glass Workshop
This week at St Mary’s we have had Jason in for ‘Gift of Glass’ workshops. Every child has had the opportunity to create part of what will be a beautiful stained glass window to reflect our school, the vision and our values. Once complete, the stained glass will take pride of place in the floor to ceiling windows between the office and the main building. We can’t wait to see the finished result! The children have been very careful and respectful during the workshops. Well done St Mary’s!
Oscar “I loved placing the broken glass onto the wings of the butterfly!”
Tulisa “I loved putting the glass onto the butterflies, it was so amazing!”
Esmie “I liked putting the bits of glass onto the wings of the butterfly but you did have to be careful!”
Niamh “ I loved seeing the beads and seeing them being put on with the special glue!”
