Year 3 Visit to Butser Ancient Farm
Year 3’s School Trip to Butser Ancient Farm
On Thursday 17th November Year 3 went on a school trip to Butser Ancient Farm to learn more about the Stone Age to Iron Age as part of our project. We had a tour of the different homes including a roundhouse with a real fire in the middle. We also built a wattle fence, excavated to find different artefacts and made our own jewellery. We had lots of fun and learnt lots of fascinating facts!
