Year 6 Visit to the Houses of Parliament
On Wednesday 30th November, Year 6 visited the Houses of Parliament as part of our Rulers and Government project. We had a brilliant day and were able to visit the House of Commons, House of Lords, Westminster Hall and the Monarch’s Robing Room. The children learnt lots of new information during our visit, shared the knowledge they already had and also asked many interesting questions to our tour guides.
We then took part in a Laws and Debating workshop where the children learnt more about how laws are made and developed their debating skills. Year 6 were a true credit to the school and a pleasure to take on the trip.
